Is anyone having any issues Activating forecasts in the new functionality?
Playing with the tool trying to create a very simple forecast. I click Activate in the Forecast Configuration section and it says that the forecast has been activated but nothing is created in the Forecast Entity.
Seems to have been a lot of changes in this prior to release with Publishing changing to Activating etc. Anyone else having issues on this?
Yes one of our clients also had this issue. The forecast was activated successfully but nothing was shown on Forecast entity in Sales hub app. After further investigation we found that the 'Sales app" was customized and had an active layer on the top.
We observed that the Sales Hub sitemap was impacted by 5 different solutions in the org and the Active solution which is unmanaged layer had the older definition for the Forecasts sitemap entry.
By removing the changes in the Active layer, the Forecasts sitemap entry is now having the correct definitions and navigates to the expected url.
So can you please check the solution layering of Sales hub app? You can check this through below steps:
1. Navigate to Customization -> Customize the system
2. Click on Model-Driven Apps
3. Select Sales Hub
4. Click on Solution Layers.
PS: If you see an active layer on the top, you will see an option which says "Remove Active Customization". Please try to remove the active customization, publish the app and try to repro the issue.

Thanks Mustafa, unfortunately this hasn't fixed the issue.
If you have any other suggestions please let me know
Can you share the screenshot from Forecast entity. How does the view look like?
The forecast link that is added under the performance heading in the site map doesn't work, it needs to be edited to point to the following URL.
I am still not able to see any of my activated forecasts. I followed all the suggested steps above (added the suggested URL, tried removing any active solutions) but i still cant get any of my active forecasts to show up in the Forecasts Entity on Sales Hub.
any other suggestions? i am lost.
this is what i am seeing:
