I'd like to drive the volume discounts of one product/line item in a quote based on the quantity of a different product/line item in the quote. Using Discount Lists, I can only drive discounts to a single line item based on the quantity of that same line item within a quoteFor example, if I am offering "Complete Subscriptions" and "Add-on Subscriptions," it's not uncommon to have a quote for five Complete subscriptions and 20 Add-on subscriptions. I'd like to use the quantity of Complete Subscriptions in the quote to drive a volume discount applied to the Add-on Subscriptions, regardless of the quantity of Add-on Subscriptions specified. Is this possible within Dynamics 365 Sales?
Unfortunately, there is no OOTB way to achieve it.
I believe you should have a list or table to represent all products that are associated with a discount.
If you develop a plugin, the logic is to traverse whether there is a product matching the Existing Product of the current Quote Line when the Quote Line is created or updated. If so, update the "Manual Discount" of the matched product by the quantity of the Quote Line which is created or updated.
In short, this is a relatively tedious development.
I would recommend you suggest an Idea for this.
