I need to add custom field on lead called solutions content some of my products when the user select those type of products in the lead form should by appear on the account form when the lead be opportunity and the account created
I add the same filed on the account form but its not linked , what shall I do ?
You should configure mapping between your entities - ledgeviewpartners.com/.../
You mean, when you qualify a lead to opportunity and account, the field value of lead should be copy to the field of account, right?
If so, then as Andrew suggest, we should configure mapping between lead and account.
For the steps, please refer to the link in the answer above.
We should select account_originating_lead relationship.
When selecting the mapped field, please note that the following rules show what kinds of data can be mapped.
Both fields must be of the same type and the same format.
The length of the target field must be equal to or greater than the length of the source field.
The target field can’t be mapped to another field already.
The source field must be visible on the form.
The target field must be a field that a user can enter data into.
If the fields are option sets, the integer values for each option should be identical.
Address ID values can’t be mapped.
