I want to send out a campaign to Contacts and sign it off with the first name of the Contact Owner. I don't see an easy way to do this - just Owner which gives me the full name.
Am I missing something as it seems this would be something that should be possible?
To implement it, we need to create a custom field for the Contact entity to store the first name of the owner.
Create two workflows for Contact entity and one is on-demand workflow. Both steps are to update the contact record.
Then go to Contacts view, select all contacts and run the on-demand workflow.
Activate both workflows.
If the number of contacts is huge, you can use the "Bulk Workflow Execution" tool of XrmToolBox to run the workflow in batches on all records in a view.
In this way, we can insert the first name of Owner in the Email signature of contact.
