When updating an activity for example a scheduled phone call which was distributed via a campaign activity, when opening the call to a LEAD and when clicking on Convert To Opportunity the Convert To Opportunity screen opens, I have noticed that certain fields such as ‘For Lead’ and ‘Related Campaign’ do not automatically default to the lead name or the campaign name, even though both parts of this information are already included/captured on the scheduled phone call. Is there an out of the box way to default these fields so that the user does not need to browse for the campaign and lead record. I have looked though the obvious entities and cannot see the ‘Convert to opportunity’ form to even begin making any mappings to the fields?
I'm afraid this functionality is not customizable at all. The only way I see is not develop own Html/Js webresource that will do whatever you need and show it instead of the standard one.
