I have one scenario which I am unable to achieve.
I am having Leads entity in which I have n no of leads. In the leads form I have some fields and one sub grid I have added.
Sub-grid is of the form -
Stakeholder name Role of Stakeholder
y Budget owner
Now what is happening in sub-grid we are displaying views and whatever we are adding in the views everything will be displayed there in that sub-grid.
Now my requirement is that I wanted to display only the stakeholders and roles of stakeholder which are related to that particular lead not all the data which are there in views and same with other leads in the lead entity.
I have used sub-grid so that I can achieve that multi-column and multi-row way.
So please can anyone help with this problem like how to achieve this thing?.
Note - I just want to achieve "I wanted to display only the stakeholders and roles of stakeholder which are related to that particular lead not all the data which are there in views and same with other leads in the lead entity" That's it. If we can achieve this without using sub-grid then also its fine its just that we should we able to add multiple columns with multiple values.
Thanks in advance!!
If you open the Form Editor, and double click on the grid, you shall see a window similar to following.
Base on your description, I suppose you selected 'All Record Type'. Please consider to change to 'Only Related Records'. By doing this, the form will only display related records in the sub grid.
Hello @Steven RH JIANG , thanks for your response. I have given that setting which you provided at starting only.
What my requirement is that suppose for example -
In lead entity I have one lead named -
Under this I will have some stakeholders grid for example
Stakeholder Roles of Stakeholder
X General Manager
Y Budget owner
Now in Lead entity we have another lead named -
Under this I will have stakeholders for example-
So here my requirement is that Stakeholders of "Ana Roa" should not be visible in the stake holders of "Robert John" until and unless we add that thing in there stakeholder name and vice n versa.
So these is my requirement @ Steven RH JIANG?!
Can you please help me with this issue?!
So may I assume, there is no 1:N relationship between your Lead entity and Stakeholder entity? If you have such relationship, you can show related stakeholder for the selected lead record.
Thank you @Steven RH JIANG for your response. Can you please help me like how to achieve that thing which you suggested with my given condition?!
Sorry for the trouble!!
Thanks in advance!
Thank You @Steven RH JIANG for your help. As you said using 1:N we can achieve that thing. So I have done some RnD n I was able to achieve that thing. BTW I used N:N relationship for my solution.
Thank you once again @Steven RH JIANG.
