We have a a situation where sales insights was installed and enabled on a dev environment where it should not have been. What is the process to be followed to uninstall cleanly? From removing apps of similiar nature I am aware that this is not going to be as simple as running down the solutions and removing them.
Any guidance would be most appreciated.
Once Sales Insights is installed and Enabled, certain entities are created within the instance and you'll recognize on the Storage Report in PowerPlatform Admin center as they will have the name of an entity followed by "-Analytics", for example:
Once this entities are created, a lot of storage is consumed, specially credited as File storage.
IN order to properly remove the app, remove the entities associated and reduce the storage, you should open a case to Microsoft Support. Please ensure that you open the case BEFORE removing the solutions, as this information will be required my Support. Once the case is open the engineer should reach out requesting to remove the solutions, and they will perform some actions to remove the data and the entities.
Uninstalling Solution should be good enough to remove Sales Insights.
