I'm trying to create a Marketing List with a list of members and for some reason when I try to add Members to the list the following error message pops up:
I have the system adminsitrator role, so privliges can not be the problem.
I followed this documentation when creating the marketing list: Create a marketing list using in-app marketing (Dynamics 365 Sales) | Microsoft Docs
I found this question which could be related to my problem, however it does not give a solution for my issue: (+) Manage Members not available in Marketing Lists in Dynamics for Marketing - Dynamics 365 Marketing Forum Community Forum
Is it possible that if I don't havae a Dynamics Marketing license it won't work? It is weird, because I can create a Marketing list, I just cannot ad Members to it. Also I read that Marketing lists are available both for Dynamics Sales Professional and Enterprise.
If anyone knows how to tackle this issue, please let me know!
If you look at the Members tab of the Marketing List form, you will see several options based on the Targeted At entity for the Marketing List. Verify that the default view for the data source has been included in the Sales Hub app.
The view of Members in the Marketing List is "All Entities".
If Members are Account, then the view is "All Accounts". If Members are Contact, then the view is "All Contacts".
Please check if the "All Entities" view has been renamed or deleted.
There is no All Entites view in the Marketing List entity. It is a new Solution, so nothing was renamed before this.
Do you have any idea why I can't find this view?
It is not the view of Marketing List, but the view of Account, Contact or Lead. The entity depends on the 'Targeted At' field of Marketing List.
For instance, I have a Marketing List that 'Targeted At' field is Account.
Then I deactive the 'All Account' view.
The consequence of this is that an error is thrown under the Members tab of the Marketing List "The view is not available. Please contact your system administrator".
The way to eliminate this error is to activate the'All Account' view.
