When displaying the Social Activities Dasboard for Sales, for charts that have 2 entities, I receive the following message : "There was an error retrieving the chart from the server. Please try again." Charts shows correctly when accessing the dashboard through Power Apps. "2021 release wave 1" has been applied in a attempt to fix the problem but without success. Server version : 9.2.21024.00142 Client version : 1.4.2270-2102.4 A similar problem was reported as a bug in 2019. Anyone has experienced this problem since the move of Dynamics 365 to Unified Interface ? Thanks,
Could you provide a screenshot of the chart editor?
I use the french language interface and here are 2 screenshots that compose the editor panel as you requested :
Hope this is what you expected...
I mean this editor.
Since I did not see the bug of chart in my environment, so I need to create the same chart as yours.
the dashboard I use is one of the system provided dashboards. I made no modification to it. The problem appeared last october with the forced migration to Unified Interface.
I have no access to the editor you mentionned. Editing the dashboard is only available through Power apps and it leads to the property panel (screenshot in my last post).
Here is a screenshot of the panel prior to accessing the property panel :
Hope this helps...
You can check the chart by the follow process.
1) Edit the chart component in the dashboard, remember its default chart.
2) Expand the entity > charts, edit the chart which is the default chart of dashboard.
Then we can see its editor.
This is what I have Lu
I cannot identify these fields due to language differences, but I currently do not see bugs on the chart.
I recommend that you raise a support ticket for this.
Ok thanks for all your help Lu :-)
