Hello, we just started to implement Dynamics Sales and i got a question on how we could separate the product and territory entity in dynamics, since I found out that it's only on ORG level in security level. How have you solved it? Quite, crucial that different countries don't see their products and opportunity sales territories/lead territories.
We can assign a default price list to a sales territory, so that if you create any “transactional” records for accounts linked to that territory they will be automatically assigned this price list, which means when I create a new opportunity for accounts in the connected territory the price list will default.
And to add a product to an opportunity, the product must have the same price list item as the price list of the opportunity.
In this way, we can associate specific products to a territory via the price list.

But what if we don't work with pricelists which we don't?
Example if we on a case want to relate the Case to a product which is "the issue" and also which territory this case is related to?
Thanks for your reply hao!
So you have to make a relationship between Product and Territory. Whether this relationship is N:1 or N:N depends on your business.
