I created a dashboard and shared it with a director so she could see everyone on her team. I'm curious what the difference is between sharing a dashboard and assigning a dashboard?
When you share the record - you can set what privileges you give to the user to do with record - just read, read and update or even full access.
When user owns the record it means that user can do operations with the record depending on his/her security roles.
Fundamentally, Assign changes the Owner of a record, Share does not change the Owner of a record.
That makes perfect sense. Thank you!
