Hello,I have a field in Opportunity where I enter a quantity
I have put in place a mapping between this field in Opportunity entity to the field Quantity in the ProductOpportunity
However, the value gets "replaced" by 1 when I choose a Product in Product Opportunity form wizardHow can I do to lets the value already filled ?
Is it possible to ordonnate the sequence of mapping ? I think that an Attribute Map fills the 1 in quantity but can I update that ?
Many thanks in advance for your help,Fred
The mapping will work immediately after the opportunity product is created from the opportunity, so you can't map fields after the product has been selected again or delay it.
And the Quantity field will be populated with 1 automatically to override the previous value after selecting product in the opportunity product form, which is by-design.
So you need use other ways to update quantity field with value from opportunity, mapping is not a viable method to achieve it.
You can create an automated flow to achieve it.
1.Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/)
2.Trigger--When a row is added, modified or deleted
2.Get a row by ID
3.Update a row
Opportunity Lines(Opportunity product):
Note that the value of Quantity is not displayed immediately, you need wait a few minutes to refresh after you have saved the opportunity product record.
