I installed the new Dynamics 365 Sales app on the iPhone. A very clear app. But when I make a new appointment in this app, it saves it with the contact, but I do not receive an email or notification in my outlook calendar. If I make an appointment via the normal Dynamics 365 app on my iPhone, it works, then the appointment also ends up in my Outlook calendar. What could be the problem?
Hi,Have you tried to enable "conflict detection for mobile offline synchronization" and "Dynamics 365 Sales mobile app (preview)"?
They can be found in Advanced Settings > Settings > Administration > System Settings > Mobile Client tab.
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately it has no result. The appointment is correct in dynamics but does not arrive in outlook/calendar.
Hello and thanks for reaching out!
At this moment, the new Dynamics 365 Sales app supports syncing appointments from Exchange to Dynamics but not from Dynamics to Exchange.
Reason is once the appointment is synced to Exchange, it is also sent to attendees.
We've learned some users were not expecting this, and we are working on streamlining the experience of syncing to Exchange.
