Hi all. We are having an issue with the pipeline phase whereby, there are 2 values: 5-close and 5-closed.
Has anyone phased this issue as well? Where can I find these values?
first I want to mention that there can be more reasons why there are different/duplicate stages in your Sales Pipline. At least it can e.g. depend on the Dynamics 365 application such as version and/or configuration. Expecting for now that the application is running by design, I therefore assume that someone added some different text in the field "Pipeline Phase" in any opportunity.
The following example shows the function of this field for this inquiry:
- Navigate into an opportunity, to the field "Pipeline Phase"
- By default, the system will fill in the defined values of the phases automatically
- By changing the value of this field the Pipeline will change in your dashboard
For more information about the default processes you can also have a look into the Microsoft Doc`s choosing your correct Dynamics 365 application: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/
*Due to the complex and different possibilities of deploying Dynamics 365 I highly recommend not to setup the application without some expert/partner or support. (For more information contact me under firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.inno-solutions.de)
*The Information comes directly from the manufacturer or provider and are validated (not guaranteed) up to date of creation of the posting.
Thanks for your insights!
