We are struggling to keep up with the data storage (not file storage) limits. We have tried to optimize logs and records, but the largest contributor seems to be some Activity Pointers. Has anyone come across such issues? Are there any third-party apps or ways for optimizing the mysterious activity pointers?

For the selected environment you have the total storage split by each of the three categories(Database, File and Log), Activity pointers comes under - Database.
