I would like to set a Read-Only grid when Editable Grid is enabled on an entity.
I am on a Classic interface (not Unified interface), on-prem instance v9.
Thanks for your help!
I don't quite understand your demand. Do you mean you want to make one or more columns read-only on your view which Editable Grid is enabled on the entity?
Or you want to all columns read-only? If so, why not use Read-Only Grid?
I am talking about views. Their grid can be either Read-Only, or Editable (when enabled on the entity level).
On my entity, I would like to set only one view as Editable, and keep the other views in the Read-Only mode.
I see. You want to let Read-Only control or Editable control at view level, not entity level, right?
If so, you could submit an idea here due to it's not supported now:
Unfortunately you can not achieve. Once you enable Editable grid at Entity level it will applies to all views in that table.
