Hi,

What is the best way to restore lost labels in Visual studio 2010 TFS?

All labels were lost after one of the check-ins. we can see correct labels in TFS history, but not very sure how to restore (merge) them.

Can't you just go to the label file in the aot go to history and do a"get" on the correct version?  If that does not work go to tfs get the correct ald file version and save it. Then import it over the label file in the aot.

You can also open the last check-in file from history with correct labels and copy them into the label file (should be checked-out) then you can check-in it in tfs.

Make sure that you only overwrite the missing labels.
