When I run CIL compilation on a customer, it just stops with no errors. The environment has two AOS servers, and the version number is 6.3.2000.326
I tried the following steps with no luck.
That did not work, the CIL compile simply stopped with no messages. Then I did the following.
There was no compile errors from the normal compile, and the CIL still just stops with no errors.
Any idea what the problem might be?
I remember having had a similar (not exactly the same) issue with an single error (without any text - only the error icon)
Have you tried to truncate the SYSXPPASSEMBLY table right before starting the aos?
And I remember a case, where some strange entries in the SYSCompileIL Table was the reason.
only some hints
but what did you mean with stopped with no messages?
I mean that i start CIL and 5-10 seconds later it stops.
It just stops, there are no messages or anything.
Try to go through this LCS Solution, fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../729966;qc=bd3bbf2d9a5639beaf57b6d78f5b710c7beed57506b163c5e7eb2ffd106c8f95
Basically, verify that the Application are sync correctly.
Finally, run again the Full CIL.
On AOS Event Viewer, you aren't able to see any errors?
So, you should be doing the Full CIL generation with only one AOS started (AOS2 should be stopped) - but that sounds something you did in both scenarios.
What about running the AX client when trying to do the CIL with Run as Admin?
Also, the full compile you did was done with AxBuild or built in client compiler? If it was the external one, you should be doing that with both AOS services stopped.
Hi Denis, your link is not working.
I think you are linking to something only your company has access to.
All processes where done with only one AOS running.
Full compile was done from client.
I will try Run as Admin, (Problem this is on customers Production, so has to be in Service Window)
Try to go through LCS and search the Solution 3368662
Thanks Denis, but its not a multi AOS problem.
When i do the compile I am only using one AOS.
So, go ahead with the Lulian suggestion.
Did you try to see any errors in Event Viewer? AX must write just anything after CIL stops.
