There is a requirement to add the financial dimensions to this form in the grid that is in the Override tagpage of the InventJournalLossProfit form

Hi, The financial dimensions are available in the third tab denominated 'financial dimensions'. Why do you need that? Just for convenience? Best regards, Ludwig

Hi,

If you want to have the dimensions on the grid, you should consider a customization. Do you really need this? Would it be possible to have some dimension defaulting on the released product? Or are the values different per item per profit/loss event?

Reply

Yeah, a customization will easily cost you a lot of money compared to some extra clicks that might not always be necessary if financial dimensions default.

Probably make a cost-benefit analysis before you consider making such an adjustment ;-)

Hi Mopdsf.... You need to do customization. For reference use form "LedgerJournalTransDaily". This is general journal lines form and have the functionality that you are trying to develop.

Alternate option would be to see if you can use excel add-in / Data Entities so user can upload rather than trying to enter manually. it should always be faster to upload from excel than to type data in journal lines form. if this doesn't work, please continue with customization based on reference provided above.
