Please Help me!!!
Is there a way to make the query always default to Query Used in dialog box select filter form, other than the Previously Used Query?
Thanks in advance,
If you override saveUserSetup() and remove the call to super() it will always open with "Query used", but the modifications won't be saved. Not exactly what you asked for, but it's the closest I could get by now.
Thanks for your valuable reply,
But still I have doubt in that, I am extending "RunBasebatch" class to my user defined class, in which I cann't override the saveUserSetup() method. Can you please help me how to make use of the saveuserSetup in my code. Please give me some sample code for reference.
Thanks once again,
That method is in the query. To be able to override it, create your query in the AOT.
In your class, override the method queryRun() (which I believe you already did) and instantiate your AOT query.
I actually don't know if this will cause any problem in a batch scenario. If it does, you can try calling super() with a fixed FALSE parameter instead of omitting the call.
Feel free to contact me if you need further clarification.
Thanks for your reply, I will check and let you know. If it works fine or I am facing any other problems.
Thanks and Regards,
use the Clear ranges and add ranges again to specify default values in your code
After your suggestion , my query has been resolved.
It did really helped me.
Thanks a Ton.
But i want to have some more of the requirement.
It helped me to set the value for the One range but what if i want to set other ranges as dynamic.
For example i have three fields to be shown in query dialog box named as Site , Warehouse and Location.
By default everytime the dialog opens it should set the value of site field to 1 and for remaining two fields it should display the last value entered by user i.e. the functionality of pack() and unpack() methods.
Please help me.
