I realize many questions have arisen about the exception log. I have seen the log and its contents. I have propagated the errors to the client. However only the last error is sent. How can I get all the message pertaining to the problem. Below are the three lines from the exception table. I receive "Creation has been canceled". Wonderful. What I need to show the user is "The value '1.23' in field 'Payment' is not found in relating table 'Terms of payment'."
EXCEPTION DESCRIPTION MODULE SUBSYSTEM3 Creation has been canceled. AIF AifRequestProcessor-executeServiceOperation3 Error found when validating record. AIF Line=1, Pos=170, Xpath=/SalesOrder/SalesTable1 The value '1.23' in field 'Payment' is not found in relating table 'Terms of payment'. AIF Line=1, Pos=170, Xpath=/SalesOrder/SalesTable
I have faced this issue before in AX2009. Our solution was to modify the AifRequestProcessor.handleProcessingException method to call a custom helper method to get the entire infolog contents (from aifInfoLog.getInfoLogData) instead of just the most recent one (replacing the call to aifInfoLog.getLastMessage).
Thanks, you are correct.
