I am getting this error message when trying to build my project in VS 2013. I have successfully managed to add some custom tables from Application Explorer tree in managed code project. but when compiling i get this message. My table is a tempDB table with only few str fields. So far i have tried full CIL and restart of AOS to solve this issue but to no avail. Anyone who might have come across this error message?
I working on a AX 2012 R3 environment with VS 2013
This can happen when a table field setup with an EDT that does not exist or EDT reference deleted. so just check whether you deleted any EDT reference to your table in the property.
I am facing the same issue like Umer, the C# project cannot be build due to "The table that is specified in the input XML file does not exist in Microsoft Dynamics AX", as you said that, i checked all the EDT reference all existing and also ran a "Best Practices Check" seen to be got no hints. Then i just thinking if the issue just happen as you said that is EDT doesn't exist. How about i open the project and add the table into project again. But it's look like nothing happen. And the most amazing thing is the project is not being modified, i just simply hit rebuild to compile the C# project. There should be exact the same acting like the compile did in the past. Is there any chance on Visual Studio settings issues? For the business connector problems should not be happen because i already set the correct access right.
** Update 10/23/2018 **
I just created a new C# project with copying same source code and same AXproxy objects, then currently got another error "The enum that is specified in the input XML file does not exist in Microsoft Dynamics AX", I am so happy that seem i did something to make the progress move forward just a bit. But i also facing that issues so hard at much. I did some googling, There just a few posts discussing about that issues and this. (It said that the enum may missing in some table) I am trend to be investigate all the AX table that i used that try to find out anything that can give me a hints.

I finally found out it was the deployment target issue of Visual Studio, i am using visual studio 2013 with AX 2012, then the visual studio was pointing to incorrect AOS server even i open with the correct AXC file. I think this is a issue you guys have to notices the AXC file is not equal to deployment server target. I have to update the correct server via Microsoft Dynamics AX Configuration Utility. I hope you guys facing the same situation can solved by this solutions.
