hi everybody , i have big case with my customer and i want to know your opinion , my customer make production order with quantity 100 from ( item A ) but There is part of the quantity transferred to Scrap so he want if he made production order with quantity 110 when he end the production order the Net quantity 100 not 110 ... what can i do in this case .
During the registration of finished goods you can specify the good and bad quantity. In that case he can start with 110 and end the order with 100. Is the scrap always around 10 or 10 percent?
I do not want the customer when he create the production order write 110 but i want to create production order with 100 and the program made scrape with 10% , so when i finish the production order i want to see 100 finished product and 10 scrap .
The system is not aware of the actual scrap. So you have to work around this. You could define scrap already in the BOM and route for additional consumption and then report 100 as finished.
Thank you very much
If you can use Formulas, you can define the scrap as a By-product (or co-product), and Report as Finished both the good item and the scrap.
