I have a Query based SSRS report. Just a simple query with no complex stuff in it but gets huge data and the report runs fine. When the data is exported to CSV, after a while I get the below error. Please suggest how to fix this and export the data smoothly.
The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (2147483647) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element.
Please refer this link:
(AX 2012 Query Service Error)
look at the below link
I'm also getting the same error while exporting the data to CSV. I'm having nearly 600000 records. But if i run the report for less amount of records it is working fine . Please advice how to fix this.
Did you consider using the tool intended for this purpose, i.e. the Data Import Export Framework (DIXF)?
Agree with Martin, give a try with DIXF.
Hi Martin & Deepak,
Thanks for the quick reply, I've been using this DIXF for Data import (ie., from excel/csv to Ax entity). But i didn't used it for "EXPORT especially with RANGES". As per my requirement I've to get the 10 ranges as a parameter from the user by using a dialog/form/parameter dialog, then depends on that range I've to filter the records & export that records to CSV. So I've spend time on googling about DIXF Export with ranges, here I'm getting articles for IMPORT with custom entity, standard entity. But no luck, I didn't get any article related to Export with specified ranges. Please give me some light on this.
Open a processing group, then an entity, press the Select button and your query ranges.
You could write code for it, if users can't set ranges here for some reason.
I've gone through this link (nabeeldotnet.blogspot.com/.../export-data-from-ax-2012-using-dixf.html)article and got some points like you said, but how can we set the ranges through dialog? and set back to DMF form instead of clicking select button. Since i have to show the exporting data into Form first and then Export to csv.
So could you provide any reference article to customize the standard range setting by X++ code instead of selecting in the DIXF .
I'm sorry, but I don't have any AX 2012 environment on hand so I can't look at details.
But you can look into code by yourself to find out where the query for 'Select' button is coming from.
