Does an open transaction has an no settlement closed date? If i see a closed transaction, it has closed date, thats not the case with open transaction. So, can I say that a transaction with no closed date is an open transaction
You are correct. Here is what the helptext says about this field (I just copied from latest version but should be same for previous versions as well):
The date for the full settlement. If the transaction has been settled, this date corresponds to the transaction date of the final settlement. If the field is empty, the transaction has not yet been fully settled.
In addition to this field the balance field will show value != 0.00 if it's open.
You are right :-)
