Getting below error while opening AX, even with an Administrator account, there is no issues in any module access, but while clicking on "Home" the error is appearing.
"Message: You cannot view data on this page because you are not a registered user in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics AX administrator."
We have tried with resetting IIS and restarting AOS services, still getting the same error. It looks like some EP issue.
Please advise us on how we can resolve this issue.
Good Morning Akbarpasha,
I found the following solution/note on LCS:
Solution 3190842Error when browsing Enterprise Portal: You cannot view data on this page because you are not a registered user in Microsoft Dynamics AX
Problem description: Using SharePoint Server Web farm to host Enterprise Portal sites and Multi-Domain Trusted Active Directory Domain controllers.
When browsing the Enterprise Portal you get an error message in your web browser:
“You cannot view data on this page because you are not a registered user in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics AX administrator.”
Mitigation description: This error can be raised as it mentions if you are not a registered AX user. However if you are a valid AX user then another scenario that we encountered was caused because appropriate ports were not enabled in a firewall between the servers and domain controllers and hence dropping the connection.
