I need to create a segmented entry field just like the "LedgerJournalTrans_AccountNum" field from LedgerJournalTransDaily form to the TaxTable form. I created a new field on the TaxTable and that has LedgerDimensionAccount as the EDT and also relates to DimensionAttributeValueCombination.
After this, on the TaxTable form I began following the microsoft documentation of adding a segmented entry to the form and started the code.
My problem is when following examples online, I keep getting the error: Class "LedgerDimensionAccountController" does not contain the static method "construct".
final class GENTaxTable_Extension
public LedgerDimensionAccountController ledgerDimensionAccountController;
public void init()
ledgerDimensionAccountController = LedgerDimensionAccountController::construct(TaxTable_ds, fieldstr(TaxTable, GENLedgerDimension));
Does anyone know what now replaces the "construct" method?
Probably you used old guidance for AX2012.

Hi paulina m,
Is your question primarily related to D365FO or AX?
Hi paulina m,
You created a extension class, It looks like you are using D365FO.
The class "LedgerDimensionAccountController" is in AX2012.
Have a look at the following blog:
