As shown in below snapshot, I have to customized field
So I added the new option to BaseEnum\DOcumentStatus
Summary Update form is uneditable. So from where should the new Document status be added for the required customer?
I'm not able to follow your question. Why are you showing a screenshot of a personalization? Can you describe what is the business requirement and what you have done so far and where you get stuck?
I am just showing personalization to let you know the tablename and fieldname of the first column in the form. That field is of base enum type. So I mentioned that I added a new element "Customer PO#" to the base enum elements.
Sorry if this caused any confusion.
Also I mentioned that you cannot key-in a new row in this form by using Ctrl+N. So I would like to know the way in which a new document status can be added to this form?
let me know if you still have any confusion.
Data source behind this form is table SalesJournalAutoSummary . I quickly do a testing to create a customer and can see method SalesJournalAutoSummary::initAllFromCustTable was called to populate records. You can debug this code by yourself.
that solution works when a new customer is created. But since I have to add this new option to an existing customer, should I write a job and call the method or is there any standard AX process to do it right away?
Since data will not create automatically you can review system logic and do customization.
