Wednesday, October 16 – The Game has Started, Bring on the Business Central Sessions!
9:45 - 10:45 AM: The Wide World of Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV Web Based Resources
Join Mark to learn about different types of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV resources available for end users, super users, developers, and more. Find out what's going to work best for you to maximize the time you have to find answers for what you need.
12:45 - 1:45 PM: Upgrading to BC: What makes sense for you?
James will be presenting to help learn the key decision criteria and the impacts to consider, available options and timing for the various elements of the transition, what's "do-able" and what's not, questions to ask your partner and your add-on providers, and more to help you decide if upgrading to Business Central is the right move for you.
2:00 - 3:00 PM: GP to Business Central 101: Should you make the move?
Debbie will help guide you through some of the key differences between GP and BC, and some recommendations on how to evaluate your options, to help you make your decision for your future.
4:30 - 5:30 PM: It Takes a Little More to be a BC Champion
Join Ravi in covering how to choose the proper champions, how to on-board them, gain their "buy-in" and provide incentives for different steps of the project. Then learn how you can help that champion gain acceptance from the team for their new tasks, and how to have a successful launch of the new software.
Thursday, October 17 – Drinking from the MS Kool-Aid
8:00 - 9:00 AM: GP to Business Central 201: How to Migrate Your System Successfully
Janelle will help you walk through three ways to migrate from GP to BC, the advantages and perils of each, and dive into specific differences in functionality, terminology, and reporting that you'll need to address during the migration.
10:45 - 11:45 AM: Lessons Learned from Migrating to Business Central in the Cloud
Melissa will help you with a run-through of insights, tips, and lessons learned from users, covering topics and decisions you'll need to address as part of the project. It's quite the variety - including managing your sandbox environment, setting up security and handling user name credential changes, addressing setup choices related to dimensions, journals, etc., browser options for your users, UI/role center options, and more!
1:30 - 2:30 PM: Unlocking the Power of Excel
Join Corey for a focused dive into how to leverage Excel for performing advanced analytics. He will review sophisticated functions that can make you more efficient, such as index-match, SUMIFS, and rank. Corey will also show you how to work effectively with a large amount of data, and how to generate and present KPIs.
Friday, October 18 – The HOME Stretch….
At least they let us sleep in a little this morning after the House of Blues. You’ve got this; more Business Central sessions await! Just one more day!
8:30 - 9:30 AM: Lessons Learned from Implementing BC in the Cloud
Erik will be highlighting insights from "A Field Guide to Business Central", you'll receive a walk-through on the process of getting on BC in the cloud, hear what's different from on prem, and discuss the lessons learned from the new reality.
9:45 - 10:45 AM: Excel Life Hacks – Tips and Tricks for Excel Users
Join Shawn as he helps you step through some often overlooked and hidden functions and features that will be sure to help save you time back at the office. From beginner to expert, there will be something for everyone. See use cases in action so you can relate to these tips and return to the office the revived Excel champion!
1:15 - 2:15 PM: The Training Gap: How to Bridge it
Mark is going to help you find out how to identify the types of training that will be effective, when to schedule it, what type of supporting tools to provide, and how to repeat and refresh for solid retention of concepts.
2:30 - 3:30 PM: BC/NAV Life Hacks
Finish out this conference strong as Shawn helps improve your Business Central experience. From personalizations to date formatting and calculations, scheduling payments to recurring batches, tips and tricks, recently added features, and much more! He'll cover fast, fun and cool things to get you and your organization on the right track and the best track to use the system in an efficient manner!
