Information Speedway for Microsoft Dynamics GP: Convergence 2010

This year’s Convergence event in Atlanta taking place this week, April 24th-April 27th may just be the fast track to Microsoft Dynamics® GP information that you’re looking for. Knowledge is power and the information presented this year can and will take you a long way in your business.

The big hype, of course, is the launch of Microsoft Dynamics GP 11 or GP 2010. In an update on the Dynamics Community’s YouTube channel, Product Manager Pam Misialek confirmed that Microsoft will be launching GP 2010 at the Convergence general session for GP with a first formal look at the new features. The GP track lineup will include 50 concurrent sessions and 30 interactive discussions and with an eye toward comparing GP 10 and GP 2010.

Here are just a few of the sessions scheduled for the event:

  • Using Excel Report Builder with Microsoft Dynamics GP

Learn how to use Excel Report Builder to meet the unique needs of your business. This session showcases the power of a unique customization tool that allows you to utilize Microsoft Excel to view the Microsoft Dynamics GP data you want and need to see.

  • Customizing Microsoft Dynamics GP with Extender

Have you ever wished you could customize a window to include additional data? We’ll explore how easy it is to create custom windows to track additional data that makes sense for your business, and learn how simple it is to report on Extender data. We’re also excited to spend time covering the new functionality that is available with Extender for both the Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 Service Pack and in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010.

  • Getting More Out of Microsoft Dynamics GP: 50 Tips in 50 Minutes

Back by popular demand, this fast-paced workshop delivers something for everyone–beginners, intermediate and advanced users–as we share Microsoft Dynamics GP tips that you’ll want to race back and implement. With a briefcase of little nuggets that ‘wow’, including the how-to’s of the custom links feature, deleting auto complete entries and adding comments without using a comment ID, you don’t want to miss this.

The vast amount of information you’ll have access to, is only a small part of the benefits available during Convergence. Something even more valuable will be the connections you make and keep for years to come.
