Weekly Dynamic: Ad Hoc Workflow

Microsoft Dynamics GP provides workflow functionality but it requires Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS). Some firms aren't ready for MOSS and others aren't ready for the expense. For folks who just need a simplified set of steps to remind them of the process, using a Shortcut folder and adding each window as a shortcut under that folder can be used to build a simplified workflow.

These types of simplified workflows are great for periodic processes like month end steps or ensuring that a new employee has the basics of a process.
