Top Reasons to Attend Convergence 2012

Convergence 2012, the premier event for Microsoft Dynamics customers, partners, and prospects, is just around the corner (March 18 – 21, 2012 in Houston) and I wanted to share some of the top highlights that I am looking forward to:

  • Keynotes – These provide a terrific opportunity to see what’s new and where Microsoft products and technology is heading. As a special bonus, Microsoft announced that General Colin Powell (Ret.) will headline the March 21 keynote!
  • Best Practices – The are hundreds of break-out sessions to choose from covering a wide variety of ERP topics, so attendees can learn best practices and share how to get the most out of their Microsoft Dynamics investments.
  • Finding Solutions:  Whether you’re an existing ERP user or looking for a new solution, Convergence is the largest gathering of top ISV’s in the world.  Microsoft Dynamics GP has a vast and robust channel of ISV’s that extend the product.
  • Making Connections – Meet and talk to your peers and share experiences. You’ll have a ton of opportunity to talk with existing Dynamics ERP users as well as Microsoft partners who are open to sharing their own challenges and lessons-learned in the real world.
  • Learning about the Future of Microsoft Dynamics GP:  Microsoft Dynamics GP 12 is coming and it could have a big impact on your business.  Find out when it’s coming and what’s in store for the next release.
  • Attending GPUG DayONE – Hosted by the Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG) on Sunday, March 18, is an exciting opportunity to get engaged in networking and learning with other Microsoft Dynamics GP users and Dynamics GP leaders before diving into the Convergence 2012 activities. There will be specific breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, and great tips and tricks for all attendees.
  • CPE Credits – By attending sessions, you can earn Continuing Professional Education credits – something especially handy for accountants, financial planners, and other professionals.
  • Attending Rock-N-Rave – This is the must-attend event for Convergence attendees and not to be missed.  This year the party will be held at Lucky Strike and Pete’s Dueling Piano bar located in the Houston Pavilion on Monday, March 19 at 9:00 p.m.

Convergence is a great event and an experience you will never forget. For more details, visit the Convergence website or contact us at Borek Business Solutions as we’d be happy to help answer any questions.
