Everyone has seen the now iconic Staples “easy” button. Pretty ingenious marketing if you ask me. But think about it for a moment. It’s just a prop. It’s not a button that actually connects to anything. Still, people love it. We have one at our front desk. And I’m not even sure why since we order our office supplies from W.B. Mason.
Anyone who sees that little red dome with the word “easy” in big white letters immediately conjures up Staples in their minds. You couldn’t ask for better exposure.
On every page of the Altico Advisors Web site, we have a lovely blue button that actually connects to something. It says, in white letters, Get an Instant GP Quote. And when you click on it, it actually takes you to a page where you can fill in a minimum amount of information and get, as promised, an instant Microsoft Dynamics GP quote based on the parameters you specified.
That’s what I call really easy!
I’d like to think that the next iconic button belongs to Altico Advisors. Admittedly, I’m a dreamer. Let’s look at the reality. Staples has 178,535 followers on Twitter. Altico (@AlticoAdvisors) has…well let’s just say fewer than that. So it may take us a while to become a household name. On the other hand, Microsoft is a household name and we’re a Microsoft Dynamics Gold Certified Partner, which clearly counts for something.
