Update for on-premises installation for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition.

NOTE: none of following information is under NDA and all information is available publically on docs’ site for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition.

So far the experience of installation of on-premises was challenging, as it needed you to switch over, between VM(s) and run commands individually for each VM.

Well there is good news as we have now the updated PowerShell scripts from Microsoft. These include commands ending with *** AllVMs

This allows us to run the commands while sitting on a single VM. This is a huge time saving and indeed providing a better experience than before. The documentation is updated already, as information is public since few days. Please note that the new commands may not work for old versions of installation (Platform updates 8 and 11). I will definitely recommend to go with updated version (Platform update 12). You also need to Tear down CredSSP, if remoting was used.
