GP 2018 is right around the corner and with that its important to remember that New Security Roles and Tasks are missing when upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 .

You need to run a script to add them. I still don’t understand why this is a thing. Why isn’t the script to add these roles simply a part of the upgrade? They aren’t assigned to anyone out of the box and the upgrade runs all kinds of scripts. Run one more.
