Join Microsoft and Dozens of Partners in the Largest deFacto 5K Ever! Experience a Whole New World of Cloud-Based Financial Analytics with deFacto 3.0! It’s All Happening at Booth 1521!
As Convergence 2015 approaches, there’s a lot to be excited about at this year’s event, on both a collegial and business level.
On the business side, major milestones were reached in the realm of business analytics this year as the combined power of business intelligence, performance management, and predictive analytics that are unified in the deFacto solution unleashed an entirely new category of business analytics called “financial analytics.” Together with advances like in-memory computing, these new systems are enabling planning and forecasting at a level of power and scalability that was not previously possible.
That these breakthroughs usher in significant new capabilities was reflected by analysts’ recognition of the innovations deFacto has brought to the market. TEC, for example, asserted that deFacto was “a leap ahead of its peers” and was redefining the CPM market and providing “an enterprise performance management solution for the future." BPM Partners named deFacto Global as a Best New Vendor of 2014, with CEO Craig Schiff citing the “all-around completeness and capability of deFacto’s solution.”
Gartner, too, noted that deFacto “does what BI tools can’t” and called the deFacto platform a “mission-critical tool for new CFO.”
In addition to being smarter and more powerful, the deFacto platform is now more versatile. At Convergence we will be showing a new web interface with features that make it easy for business managers to perform financial analytics on any device–mobile, tablet or computer.
The innovations in the deFacto platform are explained in greater detail in a new whitepaper entitled “The New World of Financial Analytics,” which is available on request.
Fun, Prizes, and Friendly Competition
On the collegial side, we will once again be hosting the deFacto 5K race, with all proceeds going directly to the Atlanta Food Bank. Our objective is to raise enough money to provide over 100,000 meals to the hungry. Each $1 donation results in $9 worth of food!
It’s a great way to meet and mingle, have some fun, compete, get a free T-shirt, and win some prizes. This year we’ve added a "Lucky Me" raffle, and the winner will win either an Xbox One game console or Bose Headset. Just register and donate–we’ll enter your bib number into the raffle. It looks like the weather will be much nicer this year, so please come join us for some good clean fun.
Partners who generously donate $500 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank will have their logo printed on our T-shirt! We thank all those who have generously contributed, including Blue Moon, Data Resolution, DiCentral, Greenshades Software, InterDyn BMI, Integrity Data, JOVACO Solutions, KwikTag, Mekorma, MSDynamicsWorld.com, Sikich LLP, Solver, and Stoneridge Software.
If you can't make the event, please consider simply helping with a donation.
Chart Your Course at Convergence
A great way to map out your Convergence schedule, register for sessions, and stay in synch with fellow attendees is through the Schedule Builder tool available on the Convergence website. The tool is now live and allows you to sift through all the tracks and seminars and book reservations at the sessions, keynotes, and events that interest you most. You can create a personal calendar and share your schedule with colleagues via email.
Be sure to make an entry for the deFacto 5K and to book a visit to the deFacto booth #1521 to talk with our experts and learn firsthand why deFacto is causing such a stir in the market.
