I cretead a small extension.

A new page that displays table information.

I am able to publish it, however I get the following error

[2018-07-13 16:54:59.53] Sending request to mybizcentralapp/.../apps
[2018-07-13 16:55:02.93] Success: The package 'Default publisher_Table Object_1.0.0.0.app' has been published to the server.
[2018-07-13 16:55:03.04] Error: An internal error has occurred

When I go in the web browser I see my extension on the extension list, however when I search for the new page, I can't find it.

I can call the page from another page via a different extension.

Any ideas ?

FYI, I set the following property on the page

UsageCategory = ReportsAndAnalysis;

Internal Server Error is strange. Have you try to redeploy it?

Yes many times.

I uninstall / unpublish.

I hit F5 for VS to publish it again.

Is there a special property or object id to make a page show up in the search menu on the web client ?

My page is ID 50098.

Thanks

Yes, UsageCategory. Try adding UsageCategory = List and maybe add ApplicationVisible = All.

I have

ApplicationArea =All;

I don't have applicationVisible as an available property.

The error also says "View Json file."

here is what I have for that file.

Do you see anything wrong with it ?

Yes, I mean ApplicationArea, sorry. The launch.json file seems ok.

If in VSCODE you type AL:Go! In Command Palette a correct file will be created for you.
