Just wondering if anyone could provide some clarification on localizations.
I have currently been asked for 8 companies (not a problem)
One needs to be US and one needs to be AUS all others are GB and the initial instance will be GB.
I have now discovered they will not just require reporting but localization for tax, Vat etc.
In D365 BC would this need to be separate instances for the localization to be there ? (3 in total) or is there a better way of doing it then paying for extra instances.
And while on the mater is there any reference to pricing for additional instances I can not seem to find it anywhere.
Actually different localizations requires different tenants. Regarding pricing, this is the same (you pay for the users).
Wow that would be tough as they want integration with CRM which would be required to be on the same tenant, of which I would have 3 so that would be 3 lots of users to maintain also.
I am also assuming I would have very limited cross tenant connectivity if any and I would not be sure if powerbi would be able to join data from multiple tenants plus there is the other tech linked to it and website design constraints.
I think this could be a nightmare scenario !
