I Have installed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central W1 on My Local Machine. [Refere by This Link "https://saurav-nav.blogspot.com/2018/10/msdyn365bc-install-microsoft-dynamics.html"]
It Provides both AL development environment and the C/SIDE development environment.
I have installed "Visual studio Code " for Al. but my issue is I write "Hello world" code.
I did not find How to Run that code for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Please Help Me.
Thanks in Advance
I would suggest to start with docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-get-started there is described how to create AL project, compile it and run in BC.
I'll go for Sign up for a Dynamics 365 Business Central sandbox. that shown message as " we dont support your country" . I think that setep for cloud BC . If Any other method for Setup VS code for Local Machine for BC
Hope you are doing well.
- As far as I understand, you have installed the MSFT 365 BC On premise solution? If not try installing the On-Premise.
- Next step is to have visual studio code with AL language extension installed, which I suppose you already have.
- Press, Alt + A then Alt + L to create a new AL Project.
- Now, It will ask you, either you want to connect to your cloud version of BC or Local.
- Click on local.
- Make sure that webclient for Business center is running
- Your launch.json file would looks like this:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + P and type or select AL: Download symbols.
- On Success, Again Press Ctrl + Shift + P and type or select AL: Publish
- Now do some development using AL language in .al type file(s)
Every time you need to deploy a new package, just publish.I guess this is what you was asking for?Let me know if you need any more help. Thanks
