We are using business central for our organization and we have some query and for that we are looking for the help, we have a requirement to create employee globally that means, our organization is having three different companies where one is parent and two are children. Here we have common employees for all the companies, let say employee one can work on company A and as well as on company B, here we want to calculate his productive hours whether he has worked on company A or B.
So the following are the doubts we have as of now.
1) You can do that by "replicating" the creation of an employee to the other companies. This can be done writing custom code by using CHANGECOMPANY in the OnAfterInsert/OnAfterModify triggers.
2) Calculation of productive hours fo employee can be done by creating a custom reports that loops through resources registration on all the 3 companies (same as before, using the CHANGECOMPANY command for accessing the subsidiary company data).
