Is it possible to Capitalization a Project into a Fixed Asset?
After some research, i found this to not be possible.
You could use Fixed Assets to capitalise project costs, as acquisition cost lines on a Fixed Asset Journal or Fixed Asset G/L Journal. As long as you're happy they can be capitalised, then you could feed these costs through into the General Ledger.
But I'm not aware of a way you can take, say, the costs incurred on a Dynamics NAV/BC 'Job' and turn that into the costs of the asset to be capitalised. The two modules don't work together that way.
