When I click release button in order to release an open PO, an getting the below error. If I click ok, the open status doesn't change to release.
What could be the issue?.
Are you clicking Post or Release action ? that message appears when you click post and if you don't select the option of Receive or Invoice.
It's coming when you release an open PO document. Even if it's not attached to workflow.
Do you receive the error messae only for one purchase order, or for all purchase orders?
In my standard Cronus database I was able to change the status to Released for a purchase order without error message.
If this issue remains, I would suggest to create a support ticket for this. We can then check this more in detail.
You can do this yourself if you are a CSP / Dynamics 365 Partner or ask your reseller to create a ticket on your behalf.
Yes for all purchase orders. It started recently on our test environment.
