I tried to make posted sales invoice page editable. I referred following website to get an idea.https://yzhums.com/16756/
What I want, user needs to enter external document no after post.
In business Central (SaaS), Can we do this kind of development in SaaS?
There is a page action on a posted sales invoice called “Update Document” - which is available for other fields but you could try extending that page instead: Posted Sales Inv. - Update (1355, Card)
May cut out the need to think about toggling between editable and not editable modes.
Exactly what I tried newly. But it is not updating. Updating code has been written inside OnQueryClosePage, can we extend that too?
Yes you can add your own logic to the page triggers with a page extension
