I hope everyone is having nice summer time in United Kingdom and but back in India Summer is too hot..



Ok let's jump on the scenario the user is trying to track the emails in Dynamics 365 via Microsoft Dynamics 36 App for Outlook.


User is getting an error message 

"We're sorry,We are unable to show Dynamics 365 App for Outlook because current user role does not have required permissions. Please contact your administrator to have required security role assigned to the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook solution".



From Dynamics 365 Version 9.10 on wards there is a new "Security role"  in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 needs to be assigned to the user "Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User" in order to access the "Microsoft Dynamics 365 App for Outlook".


Once the "Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User" role is assigned to the user then the user is able to track the emails from the Outlook.
