The Microsoft Convergence 2015 Conference returns to Atlanta, Georgia this year March 16-19 and promises give attendees a jam-packed four days of education and resources to help drive their business to new heights.
As we bias? Well, as a Microsoft Gold Partner focused on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and a Convergence exhibitor (booth #1322) again this year, yes, we are.
But for good reason.
Ledgeview customers who have attended in the past have conveyed to us that they not only learn a lot, but get more out of their Dynamics CRM with the knowledge gained at this conference.
While the reasons to attend way exceed eight, here are just a few to help with your decision to attend if you are not already registered.
With the launch of CRM 2015, this years’ Convergence will be particularly exciting!
You will learn about the Product Roadmap that will enhance CRM with great new features for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. Attending Convergence 2105 will put you in a front row seat to learn first-hand about the new product developments so you can be prepared to take advantage of this functionality once it is released.
A wide range of sessions to fit every user.
If you walk away from Convergence 2015 without a long long long list of take-aways then either you didn’t leave your hotel the entire time or ended up at the wrong conference. To offer the greatest value to attendees, Convergence offers a variety of session’s types that include general sessions, concurrent sessions, interactive discussions, deep dives, roundtables and the list goes on and on. If you are a CRM user or exploring CRM, there are sessions that are geared towards the business side of CRM – how companies like yours are using CRM, best practices, user adoption and more. More of a techie kind of person? Learn how to extend CRM, integrate CRM with other systems, deploy in business situations beyond Sales, Marketing & Customer Service. Using the online Scheduler Builder mobile app allows you to filter and drill down to the sessions that are the best fit for your industry, your interests and your experience.
Speakers that know Microsoft, well, pretty darn good.
If you missed my post on the featured speakers at Convergence 2015, I list out the nine top speakers you should make sure to attend. In addition, Convergence will have product experts, MVP’s and speakers who are passionate about the products that help you position your business for success now and in the future. During the sessions and throughout the conference, you will have opportunities to speak directly to members of the Microsoft product team and other experts to expand your technical and business knowledge of your products.
The Expo Hall Starts at #1322
Okay, there was my shameless plug for you to stop by and see Team Ledgeview at Booth #1322 and get a cool give-away. But seriously, the Georgia World Congress Center will be a buzz over the course of 33+ hours of ‘expo time’ with hundreds of vendor product experts where you can learn more about the myriad of third party products that can extend your CRM and Microsoft product capabilities.
Grow your network in a mass of 12,000
Don’t forget a big stack of business cards, because Convergence 2015 is expected to draw 12,000 attendees and holds endless opportunities to build and develop your network of Dynamics CRM user peers that you can connect with throughout the year (often the best part of the conference). From having a conversation in the elevator, waiting for the bus or chillin’ in the Convergence Experience Center, you will be surprised at the close connections you will make that will last long after Convergence.
Meet one-on-one with Microsoft Executives
If you have aligned yourself with a top Microsoft Partner (like Ledgeview Partners), they can arrange for one-on-one meetings with a Microsoft executive. Our CRM customers have found these beneficial to be able to ask direct questions of these executives, and to also provide their input into their challenges that they would like Microsoft to address.
Give back with the Community Outreach Project
The best way to describe the feeling everyone got last year and the accomplishments that were achieved is to watch this short video from 2014. This year Volunteer Convergence attendees will tackle homelessness, hunger, at risk youth and neighborhood revitalization with a community outreach volunteer opportunity on Sunday, March 15th.
Make your friends jealous by rocking to OneRepublic
On Wednesday, March 18th the massive popular rock band OneRepublic will take the stage at the Phillips Arena to headline the Convergence Celebration for a special private show. I know my wife is really jealous. But if you have someone like a spouse joining you in Atlanta, you can pick them up a pass to the celebration (concert) for just $100. Not a bad deal at all!
Why Convergence? Check out this 1 minute 42 second video and you will see why.
I hope to see you in Atlanta! If not, you can follow attendee’s experiences at #CONV15 and see what you are missing.
