Single organization vs. multiple organization: Key points to consider in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises

On Nishant Rana's Weblog, Rana noted that you should decide whether to go with a single or multiple organizations (single instance or multiple instance) as soon as possible with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises, because if the implementation grows, it will increase the complexity.

For example, if you've already implemented marketing for the marketing line of business (LOB), adding sales and service would be difficult because you might have to update the existing implementation (plugins, workflows, business process flow, security model, business unit structure, etc.) for other LOBs.

If the implementation of the system is designed from the very beginning keeping different LOBs in mind, the complexities can be managed. Also, there is a possibility that a single instance which is serving different LOBs, needs to be separated to multiple instances later, this again will require additional efforts.

Send Forms Pro survey invites via CSV file

Megan V. Walker stated on her blog that there are several ways to send out a Forms Pro survey and request feedback.

For example, you can send invites to a Customer Engagement view or to a contact when a case is closed, or import a CSV file full of recipients.

To get started, navigate to the Send Survey tab on your survey, click on the Email option, then click on the Import recipients button on the top right of the survey.

You can read more about how to send Forms Pro survey invites via a CSV file here.
