I'm working in On premise CRM 2016 configured with AD. I have worked on online version of CRM so i could only guess there is some problem because of domain and AD
Initially i was able to access the URL when my system was under workgroup.
Now i logged in the system using my domain account and when I try to log into CRM, ADFS page is giving Error as below.
An error occurred. Contact your administrator for more information.
Please Note:This issue is with chrome browser alone it works with IE.
Kindly suggest me what should i check for this issue.
You might be able to resolve this issue by enabling Forms Authentication.
Is the system enabled for IFD (internet facing deployment)? I'm guessing it's likely, if it's using ADFS. Do you see anything in the logs on the ADFS server?
Check event viewer in your CRM server there should be some log if not you can enable tracing in the CRM server and check for the error details.
I dont have any control on ADFS server.
Unfortunately, it's almost certainly something that needs to be diagnosed and/or changed on your ADFS server (like the authentication change mentioned above). If you don't have access to it yourself, you'll need to coordinate with someone who does.
