The following error message occurs when trying to publish an entity( change a field option set and publish).

" record is unavailable- the requested record is unavailable or you have insufficient permission to view the record. " as a matter of fact I am the system administration.

the error log file says

Maybe you are trying to publish a view or an optioset that already existed and maybe was owned by someone else.

What is included in this customization?

As I said, I am the system administrator and there is one other person with a different security role. does the error has something to do with security role? should I be assigned another role other than system admn. i belong to the main/parent  business unit . i am wondering what does

Message>role With Id = 2b33184d-2111-44bf-b4d0-a9f3645389ad Does Not Exist</Message>

mean?

Hi Pearse,

Could you please let me know?

1. Are you getting this error message for all the entities (including Out of box entity).

2. If yes please let me know the CRM online organization name in which you are getting this error message

Thanks,

Mohammad

It could be...I bet you have a script that requires a field or option on the dropdown menu that is not available on the other forms.

Can you look into that?
