Does Dynamics CRM support the concept of outbound messages, like SaleForce.  For example, you can generate a wsdl from CRM and implement the classes in a seperate web service which you can then point CRM at and when a specific action/event is triggered a message is then sent to the bespoke web service?

A plugin in Dynamics CRM allows you to inject custom code at key points when a CRM message (create, update, etc...) is being executed. This approach would give you the flexibility to connect to an external service directly or to something like an Azure Service Bus to queue items.
