We are facing a critical problem during upgrade of Entity solution 188.8.131.52 from Sandbox to QA environment.
Please find the RCA for this problem.
We are able to import the Entity solution from Sandbox to QA environment with new version x.x.x.1 . But we have entity patches in solutions and
we need to upgrade old entity solution version x.x.x..0 to latest version x.x.x.1 When we are doing solution upgrade we are getting error “systemform With Id = XXXXXX Does Not Exist”.
After lot of analysis and RND we found that this GUID belongs to “Opportunity_admin” form of Opportunity entity. This GUID we found in “customizations.xml” file of previous entity solution version x.x.x.0 which we deployed in production.
Now problem is that this form is not available in our Sandbox environment version x.x.x.1 but it’s their in QA environment, which causing the issue during entity solution upgrade.
Please help me if anyone knows the solution to this problem.
P.S CRM 2016 version is online
Make sure your sandbox and your QA are in the same version
If not plan your update.
Yes they are at different versions but i am not sure if its a version issue because solution gets imported and only gives error on the following GUID.
